On December 12, EMV Studios will be joining thousands of photographers around the world  in the Help-Portrait movement; photographers around the world grabbing their cameras, finding people in need, and taking their picture. When the prints are ready, the photographs get delivered. Free. Here's a short video explaining the idea of Help-Portrait.  You can visit the Help-Portrait website for more information or read a note from the founder to see the power a picture to a single mom who's never been able to afford portraits of her children, or an elderly man dancing in front of the camera because he's never had his photo taken, ever.

 

Diane and I are currently working with local charities to provide free holiday portraits to families in need. We will provide cameras, studio strobes, background supports and printers.  Hoping to invite high school and local community college photography students to be a part of the experience.

However, we have need for voluteers, some additional equipment loaning and help in purchasing supplies.  Here's what we need so far.  Please contact me, Michael Young, at 505-412-8063 if you want to help.
